Floods and Droughts

We are victims of floods and droughts year after year.The politicians have give up and we are left alone. Every year farmers are loosing their hard earned or lended money into the fields. Many have have migrated out of region to get to work as labourer. Rivers which are gifts from the nature have become curses.
With modern technology we can change the situation, but due to lack of political will power nothing has been done. with proper mangement of rivers and canals Punjab has become the grain producer of India .
We are deprived of basic amenities .There are no power ,no roads, no drinking water, no schools, and loosing our crops year after year. God doesn't care of us.

We are the greatest and oldest civilisation in Indian subcontinent;But we are ate poorest one as of now.The human development is lowest in our Mithila. What was once considered the centre of knowledge now is deprived of it.Have we lost? First of all we will have to look into the reasons behind deterioration.
We went against the roots, that is learning. We stopped learning so we lost. consecutive corrupt governments, floods, droughtshas made the situation worsen.We have become dull and accepted life "as it is ".
First of all , we have to make our society educated not just literate. Although the socalled educated people have not contributed in the development of society but we will have to change the trend.So first step is make "Mithila educated and learned".It doesnot want anymore political slogans and day to day life petty quarells.
